Letter Perfect

Letter Perfect
by: Cathy Marie Hake

I loved this book!!! I was gripped from the very beginning by Ruth. She is such a great character that you can relate to. I love how real she is. The way that she speaks her mind is absolutely refreshing! Cathy did a great job in creating this character! This book is very well written and the pace is very good. She does a great job of introducing the twist toward the end to where it is completely unexpected (I don't want to spoil it by saying more). She also does a great job showing the internal struggle that Josh has regarding Ruth. To like her or not to like her - that is his dilemma. Pick up the book to find out what he decides.

I highly recommend this book. I kept thinking in different scenes how I would love to see this book made into a movie so I could actually see the conversation and how the people were standing just so.

Back of the Book:
If her own two feet don't end up tripping her, Ruth cladwell's mouth is likely to get her into equal trouble. But Ruth has the best of intentions. Truly. It's just that her attempts to live up to her mother's expectations of how a lady should act have often yielded . . . well, less than impressive results.

Josh McCain is speechless when he sees Ruth step off the stage in Folsom, California. Sure, it looks like she's been sleeping in her gown for the past week, but with a crown of riotous curls and those deep green eyes, she's certainly the most beautiful woman he's ever met.

But attraction is not all that causes sparks between Ruth and Josh. With Ruth's legitimate claim to an inheritance, the Broken P Ranch's future is suddenly precarious. And when Ruth's "accidents" -going beyond even her normal bumbling ways - seem to take a sinister turn, Josh must decide where his loyalties lie.

Thanks for stopping by!

This is the only book I've read by Cathy Marie Hake, and I loved it! I'm really eager to read some of her other books, but I've heard mixed reviews on a couple of them.

I have read Fancy Pants and really liked that as well. I have also liked the novellas I've read by her. Try some others. I'm sure you'll like them. I'll be re-reading and reviewing Facy Pants soon, so keep an eye out.
